Louvre Museum - Paris
This was one of the lower points in our trip. It was enormous and hard to follow the map. We really only wanted to see the great works contained inside the Louvre, but it was difficult to do. We walked ourselves silly looking at ancient clay pots and Egyptian heirlooms. There are more steps in the Louvre than there are paintings I think. Finally we did find the paintings that Emily wanted to see, and the infamous Mona Lisa. I'm still not sure why this painting attracts so much more attention than the others hanging nearby. To be honest, you can't really appreciate the picture because you are too busy trying to fight the crowds to get a glimpse.
