Bullwinkles

This past Saturday Caleb got to go to one of his favorite places, Bullwinkles Restaurant. He got to play games, ate 4!! pieces of pizza, caught the water as it danced to the music, and listened to one of his favorite bands perform.





Ben was scared of the water (and all the screaming that accompanies it), but started to warm up to it a little by the end of the party. He loved playing the games and getting to see his Mi Mi and Pop Pop. All in all, I think everyone had a great time. Happy Birthday Matthew!

Traffic Jam

Some people may say Caleb has enough matchbox cars. They might even go as far as to say he has too many. Anybody who has a little boy knows that's just foolishness. And when you have two boys, there still aren't enough to keep them from fighting over them!

An Apple a day

Sometimes after a hard day you just have to kick back, put your feet up, and have an apple!

First Snowball

With the little dusting of snow we got this past week, Caleb was able to make his first snowball. It didn't take him long to figure out what to do with it either. Can't wait till we get enough snow to get the sled out!

Bowling

Caleb went bowling for the first time on Wednesday. He went with his playgroup (a bunch of friends from preschool). He had a blast. He used a ramp to help get the ball going and scored 101 points (Emily only got 113)!!!!

Monkey See, Monkey Do

Monkey See, Monkey Do. There's nothing Ben won't do if he sees his big brother doing it.

Mr. Curiosity

Tonight as Caleb and I were riding back from the "House Store" [Lowes] he asked me the most wonderful question. That's how we spend a lot of our time in the car, especially when it's getting late and he doesn't want to fall asleep in his car seat. He's definitely got more questions than I have answers. Tonight he asked me, "Daddy, will you tell me how Jesus is the savior?" There's nothing in the world I'd rather do Caleb.

Ben's new favorite show is VeggieTalesssssssss! He has to be sure to say goodbye to Bob every time.

After reading many, many blogs, I thought it was time to join the crowd. I don't plan to share deep thoughts or muse about the meaning of life.
