About two weeks ago we finally got our A/C fixed in the upstairs. It was out for almost 3 weeks as we switched repairmen and waited for parts. We made the best of it and were very thankful that we have a separate unit in the downstairs. Still, we all just wanted to sleep in our beds again. Caleb got the futon mattress in the junk/exercise room, and Ben got the palette on the floor in the dining room. That left me on the floor in the den on an air mattress and Emily on the couch. Again, it could have been much worse, but boy were we happy when the A/C got fixed and the upstairs temperature dropped below 95 degrees. (You would go upstairs to take a shower, and immediately start sweating when you finished your shower!). Oddly enough, the boys liked their makeshift beds and were a little sad to move back upstairs.
