I check your blog often, but made the mistake of thinking that there wasn't a new post because all I could see on my monitor was your header and then "Things I've Read Lately..." Sorry that I didn't scroll down to see all that you have been posting!
Interesting. I wonder what the benefit is here, since they still have to redraw every frame. I guess it's easier to copy each frame even if you're redrawing them all, so you don't have think much about how it's gonna look.
